A shared starting point
Some things are better heard together.
An AI chat can spark an idea, clarify a question, or help shape what comes next. Chorrus brings a passage you want to share into your phone conversation, so you can hear it together and talk about it while it’s fresh.

A few things to know
Before we hear it together.
Does everyone need a Chorrus account?
Only the person hosting the Read Aloud needs an account. Other listeners can join through the phone call.
What can I share?
You can paste text from an AI chat, PDF, webpage, or another passage you want read aloud.
Does Chorrus use the original audio from my AI chat?
Chorrus creates a new spoken version from the text you paste. Your shared text is sent to OpenAI for AI-generated narration, using the Read Aloud voice you choose in Chorrus.
Can we talk while listening?
Yes. Pause the Read Aloud to talk, then resume when you’re ready. You can also replay the passage. When you end the Read Aloud, Chorrus says goodbye and leaves the call so your conversation can continue.
How do I add Chorrus to my call?
First, verify a calling phone in your account and create a Read Aloud. Choose that phone and select “Call my phone.” Answer Chorrus, press 1 to connect, and merge it with your conversation using your phone’s call controls. Then select Read in the Read Aloud Room. To dial in instead, use Add Call to dial the Chorrus number shown in the app from a verified phone, enter your six-digit connection code, and merge the calls. The exact steps depend on your phone and carrier.
Which phones can I use?
You’ll need a phone and carrier that support merging calls. Check your phone’s conference-calling options before starting. You can verify up to three calling phone numbers on your account.
Can I save a Read Aloud and download the audio?
Yes. Save a Read Aloud to your private account library to listen in your browser, download an MP3, or delete it when you’re done. Saved audio contains the AI narration. Your phone conversation is not recorded.
